The Beginning

I was fresh out of high school when the pandemic hit.

By the gracious influence of a friend in the business, I decided that instead of delving into full-blown insanity I would start freelancing as a social media manager. So I holed up in my parents’ storage room and cold DM’d people for a few months.

Eventually I built up a small client base, for whom I created brand kits and social media calendars to increase and convert engagement. I wrote, designed, and scheduled content, while doing social listening and response to maximize conversion.

NGO Work

I’ve done project work for NGOs such as the Canadian Skin Patient Alliance and The Canadian Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology Foundation. This included aggregating and curating web content for social media, managing the email list, and coordinating a livestream launch with a team of volunteers.

I began Seneca’s CAB (Creative Advertising) program in 2024, where I’ve learned research, ideation, and campaign execution across traditional and digital mediums.
